The rib tickling line-up of Irish and International comedians set to perform at the Vodafone Comedy Tent during Body&Soul Music & Arts Festival this June has been announced. The addition of the Vodafone Comedy Tent over the past two years has brought with it a feast of memorable hilarity to Body&Soul, this year will be no different with an exciting list of comedians set to share plenty of belly laughs with festival goers throughout the weekend.
The announcement kicks off Vodafone’s 2017 Centre Stage summer programme, a series of music and comedy events taking place across Ireland. The Vodafone Comedy Tent is a stand-out addition to the already sensational line-up that will warm the body and soul of the most seasoned festival goers in the magical surroundings of Ballinlough Castle, Co. Westmeath from 23rd -25th June
Body & Soul fans will be captivated by some of today’s best comedy acts including the inimitable Al Porter who will kick off the comedy this year with his hit show, Al Porter At Large, full of cheekiness, honesty and sparkling showmanship. Festival fans can expect a feel-good hour full of his trade mark council-estate camp, with 90s dance tunes thrown in to get the weekend off to a lively start!
The hilarious Karl Spain will also be on hand over the weekend to get the audience giggling along with his Republic of Telly colleague Fred Cooke, who will deliver his unique brand of comedy through his musical prowess and wild crafted physical story telling.

Joanne McNally, Ireland’s fasted rising comedy star, will take to the stage on the back of her recently sold-out run of Bite Me at the Dublin Fringe. Multi award winning comedian, Niamh Marron, also joins the line-up, her show will bring comedy described as ridiculous and inappropriate in equal measures.
